These last few months I have traveled all over the state. While driving and studying maps, I've discovered strange and humorous names for things in the Gem State. Here's what I have found.

Wahoo Peak (I always say it, Wahoo!! Peak)

Asbestos Peak (the name screams Nature's Majesty!)
Buffalo Hump (Sounds kind of dirty)

Nipple Mtn (not affiliated with the Tetons)

Big Peak (Huge)
Shorty Peak (Tiny)

St. Joe Baldy (Patron of Bald Men?)
Poison Butte (Stay Away)
Spooky Butte (Oooooo!)

Apendicitus Hill (Such a relaxing place)
Chicken Dinner Rd (Wholesome family stuff)
Frozen Dog Rd (Save it and eat it later)

Shoup (I like to use it as a sound effect)
Cocolalla (It's just a funny name)
Athol (Say it out loud)
Slickpoo (Funny on so many levels)
Idahome (Idaho is my Ida-home!)

Best Name So Far
Butts Creek Point (this is the runner up)

The winner takes a whole paragraph. Both of these places are part of
the Grand Teton State Park. That is funny because Grand Teton is
french for big boobs. There is a charming park called Beaver Dick Park.
Near Beaver Dick Park runs the ever delightful Bitch Creek.
